<h1>Arkansas REAL ID Driver&#8217;s License and ID Card</h1>
<p>On July 9, 2018 the State of Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) began issuing a new Driver&#8217;s License and Identification Card.  The new cards have added security and visual features. Arkansas Driver&#8217;s Licenses or State Identification Cards that are in compliance with the Federal Real ID Act of 2005 have a gold star in the upper right corner.  Non-REAL ID cards are marked “Not for Federal Id”. From October 1, 2020, a REAL ID driver license or ID Card (ID) will be required for domestic flights.</p>
